GET eco – Transforming mixed waste plastics into fuel and electricity

The innovative machine GET eco is a product of experience and knowledge. It allows the processing of mixed waste plastics into fuel and electrical energy with over 90% efficiency. The whole process is carried out within the circular economy, the material pathways being entirely closed. The existing technology represents an excellent alternative to waste incinerators, since it is more efficient energy wise; the set-up and operation costs are lower and it is more ecological.

The GET eco d.o.o. company deals with solving the major environmental problems of processing mixed waste plastics and industrial residues by transforming them into both, new and innovative products as well as semi-manufactured products. With a combination of various tested and environmentally friendly technologies, such as extrusion, slow pyrolysis, depolymerization and fractional distillation, GET eco is capable of transforming the mixed, polluted plastic material and industrial residue into synthetic fuels, such as petrol, diesel, and bitumen, which renews asphalt. Simultaneously, electricity is produced from syngas with over 90% efficiency. The whole process is carried out within the circular economy, the material pathways being entirely closed. The existing technology represents an excellent alternative to waste incinerators, since it is more efficient energy wise; the set-up and operation costs are lower and it is more ecological. The company is currently in the phase of a prototype already in operation, which is prepared to be upgraded to reach an industrial level. The input material used consists of mixed plastic material, such as PE, PETE, PP, PS, ABS, PC, PU, mixed plastic mass, baby and adult diapers, and urban waste water treatment plants. The company’s goal is to ensure automated operation of the machine 24/7. In order to increase the level of recycling in the region and eventually in the wider surroundings, the project needs a substantial financial support.
